Information
The Carbis Bay Estate is a beautiful resort by the beach in the town of Carbis Bay. With St Ives just round the corner and views of St Ives Bay, including the stoic Godrevy Lighthouse. The hotel was used as the venue for the 2021 G7 Conference. Thankfully Boris won't be joining us this time.
Food on the Day
We will serve a good selection of canapes at 1:30pm, to help with those rumbling tummies before serving a full three-course wedding breakfast from 3pm. Make sure you have a good breakfast. In the evening at 9pm we will be serving a hot buffet. If you need anything else during the day, you will find the Orangery in the main hotel serving food through-out the day. The canapes and evening buffet will cater for the dietary requirements you have already told us about. If you have any further requirements, please let us know.
Entertainment
On the day we will have lots of things to keep you entertained. Carbis Bay Beach is just down the steps from the Wedding Hut and we will have an array of beach games for everyone to enjoy. Music throughout the day will be provided by the magnificent Kaj - bring your dancing shoes!
Taxis
One downside to this part of Cornwall is the rariety of taxis - and certainly no chance of an Uber. Ensure that you book with a local taxi operator in advance to get you back to your accommdation at the end of wedding.
